Christmas Surprise Holiday Reveal Ideas

If a holiday is your Christmas gift, give them a present to open before you share the booking. A destination reveal lets the trip become part of Christmas morning, even when you will not travel until later in the year.

Save the destination for the last present

Put the reveal gift aside until the other presents have been opened. A handwritten tag saying “For your next adventure” adds anticipation without giving the destination away. Let them read the candle label and departure card before bringing out the itinerary.

Build a small travel clue into the gift

A luggage tag, a handwritten invitation or a note about time away together can be the first clue. Keep the destination reveal as the answer. If the recipient dislikes guessing games, skip the clues and give them the box directly.

Reveal the place now, choose dates together

Christmas can be the moment you announce a planned holiday without pretending the dates are fixed. Use “To be confirmed” on the reveal card and explain which parts are already booked. Check availability and travel requirements before making commitments that cannot be changed.

Choose your Christmas holiday reveal gift

For a surprise city break, explore New York, Paris or Dublin destination gifts. If you have planned a different trip, browse the full destination collection or create your own holiday reveal gift with your chosen place on the candle and card.

Each set contains a Midnight Orchid scented candle, a glass cloche, a personalised black-and-gold reveal card, an envelope and a gift box. The destination changes the label and card, while the fragrance stays the same. These are announcement gifts; flights, accommodation and the holiday itself are not included.

Keep the parcel and notifications discreet

Use your own email for order confirmations and choose a delivery address where you can receive the parcel before giving it. Gifts are packed without price labels. An optional gift message can carry your Christmas wishes, leaving the departure field for the travel wording.

Check timing before ordering

If you need the gift in time for Christmas or another particular date, contact us before ordering so we can confirm timing. Delivery options and charges are shown at checkout. Read our delivery and gifting guidance; do not assume a seasonal delivery deadline unless it has been confirmed.
